Who is Joe Luby?

Joe Luby was born in 1980 in Hartford, the capital of Connecticut, and moved to Florida 6 years later. He fell in love with the pencil at age 7, and has been drawing ever since. He’s often heard saying ‘everyone’s good at something, this is what I’m good at.’ At age 12 he made the decision to become a comic penciler after copying a page of X-Men pencils with exact precision. If those artists could do it, and he could copy them, then he could do it too. Since then he’s made every effort to extend his art and is still frequently seen drawing. Having always had a love of mythology and medieval fantasy and displaying a talent for comedy and action, it seemed only natural to unite both his interests and talents in the comic, Sir Clegis. He has graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Sequential Art, and currently lives happily in Central Florida with his wife Jessica and son, Caelan.
